Marketplace and licenses

Please make sure you are upfront with the licenses on maps and such. I bought a set that cannot be used in any other VT, which was not mentioned before my purchase. I will not be buying future packs from that vendor, and in all honesty, I will be wary of any more purchases in the store.
We encourage creators to have their content be available for download... some have even gone so far as to promote it as such: https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/64/maps-pack-1 That said, we can't convince every creator to do so. HOWEVER, we have seen creators change their mind when they've been informed about losing sales. If you get a chance, shoot me an e-mail at nolan AT roll20 DOT net and tell me which set it was and I'll inform the creators. Also, that SHOULD be marked, so that's another thing I'd like to double check.
If it was not mentioned beforehand in a user liscence when you made the purchase , then there is no reasonable reason to deny your use of the product in other VTT. Could you let us know who the problem was with so others can avoid this problem in the future
There is currently a warning on the individual item pages of the items in the set if they can't be used outside of Roll20 both before and after purchase, but after looking at it just now I realized there is nothing on the set page, and folks may not check items before purchasing. So we've just added a notice to the set page that shows up like the screenshot I've attached to this reply. In addition, Tasia, since this warning wasn't prominent, please just send us an email at team@roll20.net if you'd like us to refund that purchase -- we only want you to buy things that you can actually use, after all :-). And sorry for the confusion.
thank you all.. I will email you with the requested information
