LFG D&D 5e All WOTC Campaigns - DM and players needed

Hi there! I am looking for a group of players that are willing to meet on a weekly basis and want to play through all of the currently released 5e campaigns starting with the intro campaign "The Lost Mines of Phandelver". New and experienced players are welcome! I mainly play Bard as my class but am willing to fill any role needed. I have never DM'ed before so an experienced DM would be very nice. I live in the UK so use GMT but if the game is run on a Friday or Saturday I can pretty much play with people in any time zone. If the game is run during the week I can play from 8pm GMT onwards. On Saturdays I can play any time of the day. Sundays I can play all of the day but can only play up until around 11pm GMT. I have played D&D for quite a few years and have played 5e since it's release. I am mainly looking for a group as my real life group only does homebrew games using the 5e ruleset and I really want to play through the pre made campaigns. I am fine with light to heavy roleplaying, it all depends on what the rest of the group is comfortable with. Just leave a reply if you are interested. A DM is the main thing we need to start this off though so that is the main priority. UPDATE: We now have a DM! We now need a few players. Once we have a few more players we will work out what time is best for us to run the campaigns! UPDATE 2: We now have a DM and 3 Players! UPDATE 3:  We will be playing on Thursdays (6:30PM EST)!
I might could join in on this. If it comes down to it, I could run at LEAST the Phandelver and maybe see if someone else wants to DM or if I continue on with my style.
If you are willing to DM The Lost Mines of Phandelver we can create a game on the LFG section of the site and we can work around what time is best for you to run the game.
In that case I can start reading it... heheheh
Well if you are the DM we just need players now. I will edit the title to just looking for players. No need to rush we can start playing whenever you feel you are ready to run the campaign.
Hello I am looking for a 5E game. I am 37 and live in Pennsylvania(EST) I can play any day but Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I have some experience with 5E. I have a Human Pally named Seigfried Rivenguard. I would like to play and a Half-Orc Cleric named Tusk. I would like to play. I have backgrounds for both characters ready and willing to play either one. If you would like me to play then please just message me. Thank you Matthew
Hi Matthew! You are welcome to join this campaign. We will work out the best time for everyone to play once we have at least 2 more players (as then we have a reasonable number of people to start). Seeing as you are the 1st player you can be what ever character you want to play. We are going to be using the standard stat array for characters. Once Diem feels he is ready to run this campaign we will move over to the group finder page and you will be added to the campaign.
I'd like to express interest as well. Relatively experienced 5e player from Central European Timezone (GMT+1), so your listed times @Thomas mostly work for me as well, and I can do any needed role for the group (though mostly interested in supportive roles). LMoP I have not played yet, so you will have a noob in the adventure.
Hi Animusu! You are welcome to join this campaign. I am not sure which character Matthew has picked yet but pretty much every class is open at the moment so you can play what you feel most comfortable with. As I said earlier we will work out the day/time we will play once we have at least 4 players. I will keep everyone up to date with the details.
Hey Guys and Gals, There are a few old schoolers interested in playing depending on the day. Please take a moment to review our posting to see if we may be a good fit. Thanks for your time --Mike

Edit: I am sorry but seeing Matthew's post again he cannot do Monday. I am sorry but we won't be able to play with you if that is your only available day.

I would like to confirm everyones timezones and days/time they are able to play to make things easier for me to figure out if others are able to play with us. Diem - EST - weeknights after 830 pm, thursday any time from 12 noon to 8 pm Matthew - You are EST and cannot do Saturday, Sunday and Monday but what times can you do for the other days? Animasu- You are GMT+1 and I know you can do my prefered times but are there any days you cannot do? From the look of things we will probably be playing on a Thursday
EST - weeknights after 830 pm, thursday any time from 12 noon to 8 pm
In reference to GMT, I am only busy on Friday evenings from 5pm-11pm (6pm-12am for me) and Tuesdays from 11pm onward (12am for me). I have some fluctuations here and there, but right now Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays are entirely free, only requirement I would impose would be that it doesn't last past 3am GMT (4am). Looking at @Diem's schedule, I can do Thursday's time slot (6pm-2am for me).
Okay cool Animasu. Hopefully Matthew can do the Thursday slot and we are sorted.
Im very interested!  I live in the gmt timezone so this is perfect for me. Currently running out of the abyss for my group myself. Personally I have run TLMOP several times but I am more than okay with playing it from a pc standpoint! I wouldn't metagame and simply let newer players take the fore and supporting from.the background if need be with a cleric etc etc. Either way I am interested.  :)
Hullooooo, idk if you guys are interested in letting someone who knows next to nothing at all play with ya, but IF you are, hit me up cuz I reeeeally wanna play. And, I have the 5e handbook too so maybes that will help me keep up? Dunno lol. Anywayz lemme know!! (SUPER EXCITED EEEEE)
Hi Saevar! You are welcome to join our game. At the moment it looks like we will be playing this on a Thursday evening. We havent really defined anything class wise yet so what would you be most comfortable playing? From what I gather we have a Bard,Paladin/Cleric and someone on a support role.

EDIT Looks like I overlooked the detail of what Mike posted - This'll be a vid/voice game (voice at LEAST)  To everyone else - you're in if this post works for you. Looks like Thursday around 6:30/7:00 EST is good. A few housekeeping things/semi houserules (don't worry, nothing too BAD): 1. I do my rolls with real dice on my side - you won't see the rolls. You all will roll in roll20. This emulates me being a devious DM behind a screen. 2. We'll be using the new SRD sheets for 5e from the new update. There's a video  here of how it works. 3. A critical hit will deal regular rolled damage plus your modifiers + the max result from your crit die. For example, a Fighter normally dealing 1d8+4 would roll 1d8+4+8 on a crit. This seems to be problematic with the new sheet but shouldn't be hard to keep track of on our own. 4. Initiative is rolled via a token action to make it seamless.  5. As Thomas has stated, at least for Phandelver, we're using a standard array for stat generation. This means 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8, arranged as you like then applying racial modifiers. 6. No rules variants for now. 7. Only content from the Player's Handbook for character creation. 8. Inspiration I'm still a bit of a stinge with. I will usually try to give it out for those being constructive and/or heroic and funny in-game. I'm working on being mindful of roleplay and using backgrounds/flaws/personality traits to govern it.
If i were you guys, i would avoid the beginning of Hoard of the Dragon Queen. Just jump into Tyranny of Dragons at the end of HotDQ or possibly the beginning of Rise of Tiamat. It's just my opinion, but HotDQ *reeeeeeally* drags on (not a pun) in the least comfortable way. Also, Princes of the Apocalypse is kinda designed to be the sequel to Lost Mine of Phandelver. They make allowances for the level 5 characters, and even include hooks for the players to move from one area to another. Then at the end of PotA, you could be in vaguely the correct level range for Rise of Tiamat. (Technically, RoT and PotA both cap at level 15. But the finale of RoT makes the characters kind of underpowered, so it could still work.) I don't have an opinion to share for Out of the Abyss, as it's the only 5e book i don't currently own.

I looked at the time you seemed to want to play for a GMT game? 23:50? Far too late for me ;(
Hi everyone. We are in need of at least 1 more player. At the moment we have a Paladin, Cleric and a Bard. We will be playing Thursdays at 6:30PM EST.
Hi, if you dont mind a player with 0 experience (Although I´ve read the PHB) I would be very happy to join you! I have some characters in mind, a Wild Magic Sorcerer Gnome and a Half Orc Warlock. Of course I can and will expand more about each character if you wish, or create another one from scratch if asked. My only question is how long do you think the session will last?
Hi Juan, You are welcome to come and join us, please message Diem about being invited to the group as he is the one who created the game and is the only one to be able to invite people. As far as session length go, we have not yet played our first session as a group as we needed an extra person.
Okey :) I´ll message Diem right away
