A minimum roll mechanic

The D&D playtest I'm playing allows a minimum amount on a skill roll. For instance, I roll a d20 roll for a sneak check, but I have a feat that lets that roll be ATLEAST a 10. So any roll under 10 automatically turns into a 10. I'd love it if roll20 would incorporate that into it's rolling commands. Like "/roll 1d20<10=10"
It already exists. /roll 1d20r9 https://wiki.roll20.net/Dice_Reference

Shouldn't that be /roll 1d20r<9, HB? Pretty sure r9 only rerolls on exactly a 9, not '9 or less'. I recall running into this problem with my brutal weapon in D&D 4e. Alternatively, /roll 1d11+9 will get you the same range: [10..20]
Yeah, R<9 would work.

The problem with 1d11+9 however, is that it reduces rolling a 10 from 50% to 10%.
But /roll 1d20r<9 would do the same thing, rerolling anything less than a 10 instead of transforming it into a 10. I'm not familiar enough with the programming to know how best to do what you want with the program, though. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Zat, you are correct that 1d20r<9 will not work for the user. It will simply redistribute the chances across 10-20 rather than having a 50% chance to roll a 10. Example: rolling 1d20r<9 (4+2+2+18) = 18 The end result needs to be 10, not 18. Unfortunately, there is nothing currently in our dice roller that will do this. - Gauss
You could just do some basic math in your head (e.g. if you see it roll a 6, add 4 to the total number) which doesn't really take much effort (unless this is what you're already doing and you just want the roller to take care of it for you, which would be the reason for your suggestion). It's what I've been doing in my games when players get to reroll some of their dice thanks to the brutal trait (e.g. 4d6+17 brutal 1 rolls a 1, 2, 4, 5; instead of rerolling everything or adding the r<X tag, we just do the reroll manually until it spits out a nonreroll number and then add the difference to the initial roll).
Yeah I was assuming Kenny was asking if it was possible in the roller. For brutal, it's easy enough to include the r<X (normally just r1), but in some other cases, instead of rerolling, you treat a roll of a 1 as a 2, which winds up much the same as the initial replacement problem. Still easy enough to to the math and adjust the number, but it also seems like a simple enough thing to program.
Ya, right now I'm just fixing it in my head. I knew the rerolling wouldn't work out legitimately. I read all the rolling options and saw what I need isn't there. So I recommend that something be added to incorporate that. But thanks everyone for all the advice!
