That is without the touch of the sea (making it 22). Which I believe is 2 min at Puddles's level, which is why i wanted to lift the box first before spending the 7 min searching the ship. Sorry for the confusion.

Making your way to the shore you are able to take time to open the box.  Inside you find the decayed remains of an individual who had been locked in the box.  Its skeleton beginning to fall into pieces. Opening the crate is disturbing .. the crate must have been a sweat box because the remains of a decomposed corpse are inside.  There are some items inside the box (a ring still on a bony finger and a necklace. There are also coins in a mostly deteriorated pouch  The mystery of deeper into the ship remains.  Although preliminary searches of the ship reveal little treasure, there are still places to explore later with a team who can hold their breath long enough for such a vast task.  You can sell the salvage rights of the ship to the town for 500 gp (250 gp)   The existence of the ship itself offers some questions as to why that ship was here in the first place.  Rewards: 3MP, Salvage Rights Sale :  250 gp each  CHOICE A: Silver Signet Ring (30gp) & Diamond Necklace (150 gp) CHOICE B: 180 gp in gold coins.
