Hello everybody, I'm a member of roll20 since the 3rd of August 2015, but I've been playing role-playing games way, way longer (a little less than 15 years total). The first system I played in was Shadowrun 3E and that very first group pretty much forged the type of games I prefer: heavy on narrative and role play, well timed and balanced combat, minimal to no sense-less hack&slash and lots and lots of crazy stuff and fun. My first few attempts at D&D with other groups were less successful during those first years as I seemed to be able only to find the classical dungeon crawlers with almost no role play and just basically moving my character from spot to spot like a chess figure, which didn't really cater to my busy mind that much. So I pretty much gave up on D&D ... Fast forward several years (or, well, A LOT of years): due to real life I moved more towards play-by-post, which is satisfying for entirely different reasons as it lets one explore the mindset and emotions of characters much more, as well as allows for deeper character and game immersion. Though, play-by-post has its weaknesses and games can slow down to a grind and they hardly ever reach that level of real-time combat excitement of a live game. I am running a live game here on roll20 myself and a friend of mine has hosted both a D&D 3.5E and AD&D2E, which left me craving for more. I am open to the specific edition of D&D, although I would like to avoid 1st and 4th edition, please. I have no experience with 5E, most of my player experience being in 2E and 3.5E, but I do watch Critical Role religiously which gives me at least an idea on what the differences are (they downgraded haste, sniff sniff). Anyway, I would love to join a D&D game whether it plays in the actual D&D setting or is a custom world as I do love to explore worlds. I want immersive game-play and get to the point where I can get lost in my character. I do prefer to start out at higher levels, as 2E and 3.5 beginner levels just tend to be a tad too ... well ... squishy and incompetent for my taste, because I do prefer playing mature and experienced characters. I like to multiclass (or Gestalt for 3.5), though I do build my secondary classes in a way that emphasize my core class. If anyhow possible, I'd prefer a GM that has some (just a tiny bit) flexibility when it comes to the character built, as I like to give my characters some unique twist. About my availability: I live in GMT+1, though I am flexible to a degree. I can play Monday-Thursday from 8PM to midnight my time. Friday I can start easily at 8PM and would not have any problem starting at midnight or even past midnight, since I don't work weekends and therefore can easily pull all-nighters. Saturdays I can play all day and all night, with the exception being Saturdays when I am running my own game (currently my next game is scheduled for the 12th of March 8PM-midnight and it runs every two weeks). Sundays I can play as well, as long as the games do not run past midnight, because ... well ... I have to be able to get up on Monday and go to work. ;) Tech specs: I have a fully functioning headset with mic, I got Skype as well, I got a webcam (but prefer not to use it unless I absolutely have to since being all PJs and messy hair on the couch is way more laid back than having to sit in a certain way so the camera can catch me)(also, I hate cameras). Last, but not least, I would prefer to play in a 18+ game for the simple reason that I am well past a point where child-friendly content can keep my interest. Also, I'm a girl with a bit of a potty mouth. :P So yeah, shoot me a PM if you got something for me, I'm looking forward to meeting new people! :) xoxo, Zee Shin
