Advice for making a forest map?

So I want to make a forest 'dungeon', but i'm having difficulty finding out how to make "hallways" and "rooms".  I put these in quotes, since they're not a literal hallway, but more like a green corridor.  As i'm sure people are aware, there's no walls in the wilderness, and while I considered putting shrubbery, the amount of work it would be to put bush after bush in a single square line (since stretching them really messes with the quality) would be obnoxious with a terrible looking end product.   Does anyone have any forest dungeon mapmaking advice?
