Hello People,
A while back I started a Dawn of Worlds game. Unfortunately some
of my friends had to stop participating. They will be watching the project’s
progress but not taking active roles in the development.
This project is going well, and how it plays out is
important to me. What I’m looking for are some creative world builders that can
work well with others. This is a cooperative game but it also has an element of
shared creation as well. That means just because you create something doesn’t
make it yours exclusively. Other player may manipulate anything on the play
board and change it if they choose. New players’ first priority should be to
help flesh out the mythology of the world’s first age.
A working knowledge of the rules is also required. I’ve
posted several house rules for the game but they only work to clear things up
where there are ambiguities. This is NOT a game for people new to the Dawn of
Worlds system or roll20 as it will require experience, critical thought and
restraint to make it to completion.
A little bit about the game so far we are still in the first
age and it is the beginning of turn 4. All turns are conducted by PM and then
at the end of the turn they are posted publicly. Each turn is considered simultaneous
and no one may react to something on the same turn that it happens.
The golden rules for this game should always be: make
something interesting and don’t let your ego get in the way of playing. I’d
like to think of this as a friendly experience, so go have fun. Also this is
NOT a role playing game it has more in common with a Board Game than anything
else.

you’re interested in playing. You’ll see a listing for Dawn of Worlds--The Great Game . Once your there all you need to do is follow the information in the
Application thread and you should be good. I’ll reply to any questions posted
there.
