What is AoS? AoS is the successor to Warhammer Fantasy and a miniature strategy wargame in medieval fantasy setting. In general two players build an army consisting of models of one of the races, and then play with each other in a scenario, fighting each others army in a battle for objectives.  While usually those tabletop games aren't connected to each other I plan on having players choose one of the races and then build an army of defined size, with their general getting at least a name and as much or few other background as the player desires. The general would be the player character in classical roleplay, AoS is on a larger scale than one individual though so the whole focus will be on the army as whole. Nevertheless the general should be treated as most important character of the army and not be used as cannon fodder. Should he be slain the player can choose if hes gone and a successor aspires or if he "miraculously" survives, so the story of your hero doesn't simply have to end with an enemies lucky cannon shot. The players then move around in the Imperium of the Old World (Warhammer Fantasy Setting) fighting with or against other players, or a "NPC army" played by me. Scenarios can be everything that can be thought up in a fantasy world and has objectives to achieve, from assassinating the enemy general over securing magical items to conquering structures. The armies can grow from the beginning size by using additional pool points acquired trough scenarios, though to eliminate the danger of one army overwhelming another trough numbers the smallest army limits the pool size of the opponent/s. The bigger army then has the advantage in having a larger bandwidth of units to select from for deployment. Units that get destroyed aren't lost, the next fight you have them again.
