Well now, it is rare to see interest in Mortals or even just Hunters, you're not the only one though, I've been looking to get into a World of Darkness game myself, centring either around mortals or a small local cell of hunters, preferably in the latter case, more something along the lines of a local vigilante or even neighbourhood watch kind of organisation which gets drawn into a larger world of which they had pretty much no knowledge, arguably this would be better for a Call of Cthulhu game but it's rare to see a game set outside of the 1920's. Also a lot of games rely on you not engaging in your monstrous nature which I would just suck at. In either case, I'm new to the World of Darkness myself but keen to learn more about it, there are so many fun and interesting games but I would like to start off in the shallow (yet surprisingly easy to die in) end of the pool. Also if I may, I'd like 2nd edition more than 1st ed., the 1st ed. metaplot was fun, I especially love the lore for vampires but I do have to admit, the God-Machine, the Changelings and the considerably (as I understand it) less powerful hunters are all a draw for me, among many other things.
