LFP - Shadowrun 5th Edition in CST timezone

Hey, I'm recruiting for a weeknight (probably thursday or tuesday, will discuss with players) Shadowrun 5th edition game. It's set in the Washington D.C. sprawl rather than Seattle - I have a detailed write-up and character creation guidelines here https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/196209/patriots-and-tyrants-shadowrun-5e New players are welcome but expected to have at least a basic grasp of the rules. PM me or post in the game thread for questions/invites.

If this is a thursday night game I would be interested for sure.
Dan S. said: I'm not authorized to view your link. Ahh, I think the problem is that the site only allows people who are a part of a campaign to view the full page. That's quite annoying - I'll put another link to my pastebin writeup in the accessible page. See if this link works https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/8484/patriots-and-tyrants-shadowrun-5e
I'm not very experienced with 5e, but I have a decent understanding of the overall game and I've played a bit here and there and made some homebrew from scratch. I have a growing interest in the Shadowrun games; all I need to know is when everything's getting started and I'll get prepared ASAP.
Sorry the link didn't work for me.
I am definitely interested, contingent on timing of course. I've played DnD 3.5 extensively, and I played a short Shadowrun campaign a while back (3rd? I think), so I have a decent grasp of the rules, and I'm pretty familiar with the setting. I own the 5e rulebook. Ever since I finished school it's been hard to find any PnP groups. Let me know, thanks.
I'm afraid I've already got a lot of character submissions, 5 at the moment with 2 more possibly on the way, and I don't want to run with more than 6. I'm not going to discriminate against late arrivals, but if I get more than 6 character submissions, I'm going to have to pick and choose my favorite 6, and put everyone else on the waiting list. I wish there was more than one SR5 game recruiting at the moment - sadly, GMs seem to be in much greater demand than players (which I can easily understand, since GMing Shadowrun ain't easy).
Understood. I still want to submit a character just in case someone flakes or whatnot. I can't see the link to the character guidelines (same problem as everyone else). Just to get an idea, what character(s) are you looking for, and if you could just copy pasta your specific character guidelines, that'd be cool too.
