Wasn't sure where else to post this...

I have a question and I'm not sure of the answer to it. There's a game system I enjoy running, however it's no longer being published (and hasn't been published for I think 16 years now...) That being said, it's impossible to find on .pdf format, book format (as the company isn't allowed to sell the books they do have in storage, I know, I've called and tried getting them), or any other format out there. Now the books have been put onto .pdf format by their fans, but I don't know if that counts as "Piracy" as they're free for anyone to get, but they're not for sale (b/c the company isn't allowed to sell them). I'd like to direct my players on roll20 where to find the .pdf's at, but at the same rate I'd like to not get in trouble over it. Opinions? I appreciate the input, thanks again guys.

I would recommend you emailing the devs at team@roll20.net about this matter. They will be able to answer your questions about what you are allowed to do here. As this matter has been shifted to email with the devs, I will be closing this thread. Have a good day.
