Are people also using Roll20 for "Mini's Games"?  It seems like it would be a great system for running internet based 'Miniature Games' like D&D Minis, Star Wars Minis, Flames of War, etc.

Andrew, there are board games (risk, axis and allies, and other types like hero quest) and mini games (battle tech and other games of that nature) being played on roll20 on a regular basis.
