New DM looking to start a 5E campaign for new players ONLY. GMT+0

Hello fellow noobs! Here's how it is: I'm looking to start a new campaign using D&D 5E. This will be my first time DM'ing and, as such, I'm looking to give the opportunity to new players aswell, turning this into an interesting learning experience for everyone. I'm looking to recruit around 4 to 5 players who are available to play at least once a week. Here's what you need to know: I've recently started working in a restaurant and therefore don't really have a fixed schedule, so we wont really be able to have a fixed day to play, but rather try to choose a day that fits everyone, from session to session. I'm GMT+0. London, actually. I wish to do sessions that are at least 4h long. Preparation always takes a good amount of time and I'm already counting on people being a couple of minutes late. Please do not apply if you're not willing to play a minimum of 4h per session. I'm preparing the campaign and I want it to be ready to be played as soon as possible. It may happen that we can start  playing as soon as everyone is recruited, or it may happen that you'll still have to wait some time (not long) after being recruited to start playing. I may run one of WoTC adventure modules, though I'm also looking at other stuff created by the community. I will not be running my own campaign simply because I don't have the time nor the experience for such an endeavor. What I'm looking for in players: Interesting character ideas. I don't want your characters to be perfect but rather flawed, making for interesting personalities that will add something to the story.  Inexperience is not a problem as long as you have a genuine interest in seeing your character grow and develop as the story progresses. Please do not apply if you're not planning on playing for long. I understand this is almost impossible in roll20, but I want to make a note of it anyway. I'm looking forward to hear from you guys. Also if any experienced players have any important tips on running my first campaign, they are absolutely welcome! EDIT: We will probably be using skype. An acceptable mic would be nice, so everyone can actually understand each other.
Hi, Im a new player, eager to learn, and I`d like to join Your group. Im also situated in EU, so timezones wont be a problem. I will be able to do 4h sessions on friday afternoons and weekends only, if it suits You.
I'm very interested in joining. I'm currently in EST, but my sleep schedule can accommodate and my only standing plans are on Sundays when I play a local Pathfinder campaign. I'm new to that campaign, and DnD, but very eager to dive in. I do have plenty of experience building characters and stories.
I'm quite interested in this game too. Living in Spain, have most afternoons free. Been wanting to try my hand at 5e for a while now.
Hey, I live pretty near London and work in a restaurant aswell, am new to dnd, watched quite alot but havn't played a campaign yet. Flawed characters are always interesting to play, would play any class, to help round out the group. Have skype and a mic.
Thank you for your interest everyone! I'll wait a couple more days to see if I can get some more people interested in this :)
Im interested in learning how to play d&d 5e, although im EDT, however i have a open schedule on weekends so 4 hour sessions or timezone differences wont be a problem.
I'm definitely interested in this. I'm probably going to be on the newer side when it comes to th
Still waiting on a couple more people to volunteer as tribute!
I would love to join, I'm in EST zone. I have read the books and but not had a chance for much playing time yet.
im interested im very in experienced so looking to play with other beginners, im based in england so the time wont be a problem
I am interested.  Brand new to DnD, but very eager. I'm in EST zone.  Hope to hear back.

GMT London as well! Need to go play in person really don't know anyone! My tip would be make the party togethert in session 0 and talk about what kind of game you want to play. It can derail a campaign pretty quickly if the party won't meet up because "my character wouldn't do that" Its a team game really so working together to make an interesting party at the start is important and some people might be imagining killing monsters for 40 floors while others might want to roleplay and investigate, its really helpful if people talk about what kind of game they want to play.

Hey there, this would be something that I really would want to play!  I Probably would want to play the wizard or sorcerer class for this, but I could play anything really.  New to d&d but I have watched a little of it played on twitch and youtube.  Hopefully you will consider me :)!
I will start PM'ing people who I think will be a good addition to the group, in order to arrange some skype talks to get to know you better before actually "recruiting" you. Also, and this is just and idea, I would be absolutely ok with us streaming our sessions. However my current house does not have a good enough web connection to allow this, so it would be up to one of you guys. As a reminder: please keep in mind we will hardly be able to find a fixed schedule for every single week. The days we play will vary from week to week and it may even happen that we might not even find a schedule that fits everyone for every single week. Do not expect this to be a group with strict scheduling. GMT players will have a slight advantage over other timeschedules. Some more info on what to expect from me as a DM: I will try to avoid focusing the campaign on combat and will promote player interaction and roleplaying. This means that I will use the rules as a basic guideline, not as a focus. I may allow stuff to happen if I feel it's well justified even though the rules state the opposite and vice-versa. This does not mean, however, that your characters are safe from harm. It's a dangerous world and if you get yourself into dangerous situations you risk getting yourself killed. Such is the life of an adventurer. I will not be saving your characters through some sort of divine intervention.  The only thing I expect from you guys is a good character background story, a good motif/goal/ambition and a sensible drawback. The drawback may be a fear of something, a wound that he carries as a reminder of something that happened in his past, a blinding hate for some type of creature that makes him lose his mind everytime he faces one. Anything you wish, as long as it relates to the background story. Thank you!
I would be happy to join you i am from Germany so GMT+1. But you need to know that this is my first game. the best times for me are on Weekends. Would be happy to hear from you.
Id be interested in joining, I also live in the GMT+0 timezone so i'm pretty open and flexible.
I would be interested in joining, I also live in the UK so no time difference, I haven't played 5E but I have experience with 2E and pathfinder, so hopefully I can pick it up easily. I'm free weekdays and alternating weekends and I can start anytime of day barring 5-7pm.
I am very interested. Noob player and am looking for a long term game as well.  PDT time
Hello you recommended this to me a little over a month ago, anyways i was wondering if you were still accepting players for this, Im finally on summer break and would love to get involved.

Can you PM me if you haven't already filled team? 41 years old.  Would like to try D&D 5E and I did buy the starter set.
Hey there! i hope I'm not too late but that's not going to stop me! ive played dnd 4e for some time now (well as a DM) but I've wanted to try out 5e for ages now as well as be a PC for once! I love the rp approach. I live in Sweden so that's GMT+1 time zone wise. Also I'm free every day from 5pm/17.00 (GMT+1) excluding weekends of course but my Sundays are always fully booked 99% of the time so that's the one day I can't. If you have any further questions just PM me :)
