I am making heavy use of a Sector Generator from a German fan of Traveller 5th-edition. The sector was generated with Vilani names, but I have an original setting instead. I have not yet renamed all the mainworlds, but I can give you a look at it. 1) Download the .csv file from my personal website. Do not left-click the link below. Instead, right-click this and choose "Save Target As" and a file name. It is almost one megabyte: http://downstat.homestead.com/files/Traveller/Frontier_Sector_v.0.4.csv 2) Go to the SectorMaker section of this fan's "Heldenhaufen" page, and upload the sector file you saved. Wait about 10 seconds. You will get a map with all 16 sub-sectors of the Frontier sector. Click a red button to zoom in on a particular sector. Hover your mouse over a system to get the mainworld UWP codes (T5 planetary statistics) http://www.heldenhaufen.de/T5 At the bottom of each map is a table of the mainworlds. Click a name to get the structure of the star-system's stars, orbits, planets, and moons! There were wars hundreds of years ago between the Frontier and the Verdulan Federation. The treaty boundary is that every hex ending in 01-15 (the "north" or "coreward" part of the sector) is Verdulan. Every hex ending in 16-40 (the "south" or "rimward" part of the sector) belongs to the Frontier. Many planets have two names (just like the Falkland Islands are in fact called the Islas Malvinas by Argentina) but bear the official name of the respective Federation. I have renamed sectors E, F, G and most of H. Elsewhere you may see long, nonsensical Vilani names for the mainworlds. Other worlds in the system may also have names, but that's more of interest to the locals than to the player-characters. I will fill in even more as time goes by. Player-characters will get a table to randomly select a Homeworld in E, F or G, the home-sectors of the campaign. The homeworld type (Trade Classifications) determines an extra skill or two. The Sector to spinward of the Frontier Sector is called the Spinward Sector (the Verdulan name for it is Fohai Sektoro). The Sector to trailing from the Frontier Sector is called the Skraeling Sector (the Verdulan name is Kolonizanto Sektoro) which has been barely settled yet. Frontiersmen and Verdulans are moving in and forming new worlds, respecting the treaty boundary. Neither of these sectors is defined yet for my game. Sector H of the present Frontier Sector contains Hexanerax, and orbiting that planet is the Big Ear: a radio-telescope array that is picking up distant signals, far to Trailing ("East" on a map) from another federation of humans code-named the Skraelings. Origin: unknown. Language: unknown. Associated Sophonts: unknown. The signals are hundreds of years old and so come from several hundreds of parsecs to Trailing. No one has launched a long-range expedition there, or at least not publicly. Although the Sector to trailing is called the Skraeling Sector by the Frontier Federation, no actual Skraelings or Skraeling colonies have been met yet.

I have written up a background to the sector for you to read. It includes a table to roll for the Homeworld of your character. Not all the mainworlds in sectors E, F and G are represented; some have low populations and it is assumed your character went somewhere else for higher education or training. http://downstat.homestead.com/files/Traveller/Background_to_the_Verdulan_Frontier_v.1.3.doc There is also a new sector file version that you can upload to the SectorMaker: http://downstat.homestead.com/files/Traveller/Frontier_Sector_v.0.4.csv There is also a clean .pdf file of sector and subsector maps and listings of the mainworlds but it does not give the orbit tables. http://downstat.homestead.com/files/Traveller/Frontier_Sector_v.0.4.pdf
