The city will have influences of Europe and Africa. A melding pot of cultures it will be primary influenced by Christianity and Islam. The Dark Ages: The Setting will be during a time of superstition. Humans and kindred alike stick to superstitions wolves witches devils and angels are solid beliefs and not just fantasy fairy tails. People leave saucers of milk out for fairies. Gender roles are the norm. As well as a strong belief in caste and the fedual systems. The world is harsh and for some they barley survive while others live in the lap of luxury and debauchery. While the world is rules more by religion than science. As such i have no problem letting characters die or killing them of. While it may seem ill i am not out to get you or kill out of some personal agenda. I like to see characters and players frustrated i like the struggle and the eventual overcoming of the struggle.Yes i did say frustrated players and it may be odd but at the same time i also want players to have fun i want a spectrum of emotion from characters and players and even myself. I also believe players can fail. I am not a fan of the yes but or the yes and philosophy i am a believer of having multiple solutions to a problem if a players try something and it fails it will fail but they're free to try to think of something else or come back when they are better prepared.
