@C4D_Corki - That's an interesting character concept, and a cool way to approach the Tao. My advice for you is this:
1) Pick up a whole bunch of Martial Arts. Tao are the #1 best martial arts class, and it shows. The first martial art you purchase only costs you 10 DP, and all others cost you 20 DP - a huge discount from the normal 50 DP cost they entail. You can also trade in your free weapon training you get in any weapon group for a free Martial Art, so feel free to do that if you don't plan on using weapons at all. Martial arts give you bonuses to all sorts of things, like attack and damage, different methods of dealing damage in combat, defensive maneuvers, and most importantly Martial Knowledge points, which leads me to my second piece of advice...
2) Pick up a bunch of Ki abilities. Tao are the #2 best Ki users in Anima, only falling behind the Technician - he might have the advantage in raw Martial Knowledge and Ki access, but you more than make up for that with your martial arts. Every martial art gives you between 10 and 30 martial knowledge, and you get 30 free Martial Knowledge per level, so you should have about 60 MK at 1st level and receive another 5 or so per level thereafter.
I cannot understate how useful Ki abilities are - from running on water to concealing your presences, from healing yourself to increasing your stamina ten-fold, even the passive Ki abilities are INCREDIBLY useful. You can also choose to take Dominion techniques, which can serve as incredible finishers and "break in case of emergency" tools when the fight is going south.
3) Don't neglect your Creation Points. You can buy some really useful advantages with them, including faster Ki recovery. For 3 CP, you can speed up your Ki recovery from 1 per hour to 1 per minute - 60 times faster. In Dominus Exxet, there's an advantage for 2 Cp that allows you to accumulate Ki at full speed while also fighting in combat - super useful if you plan on using Dominion techniques. I would advise you not spend any CP on Bonus Martial Knowledge though, because you can easily get more DP by learning more martial arts.
4) Consider where your character is from. If you're looking for guidance, my character lived in Lannet for about 5 years (Anima's version of Japan), where she learned Tai Chi). There, Ki powers are very well accepted into society and users are viewed with great honor. Your character might have grown up in Lannet and met my character there, and since he wants to travel the world to become strong, decided to travel with her to the main Western continent in order to learn more martial arts and (possibly) return to Lannet a true master. My character always enjoys having companions with her, and a pacifist would definitely fit in perfectly. My character also uses Ki to help center herself and her magic, so perhaps your Tao taught her Tai Chi to that end. It's just a suggestion.
@Mythrii - A Jayan Weaponmaster? Remind me never to get on your bad side :D It's a good thing we have a healer in the group then. I don't know your character's backstory, if I knew more maybe we could figure out how our characters know each other.
