Hello, Since i signed into roll 20 i have applied to tons and tons of games (at least 50), ive played in one game, which lasted about two months. and was invited to one more, but it disappeared the day it was to start. Heres to the forums working out a little better than the looking for group tool... My name is jake, im 30 and live in minnesota. I'm a huge bethesda fanboy. and i have played and read many D&D products ive played every baldurs gate game, old school nes/snes d&d games (though i never got too far in them), and ive read most of the drizzt books.. I am also a big fan of Acq Inc. Roleplaying to me is playing a fantastical version of myself. i am likely not the best at role playing. in the two month game i played in i noticed alot of other people questioned themselves constantly. 'would my char say/do that?" ... and they all had gigantic backstories, with fairly realized characters. i liked the idea of keeping backstory a little vague with room to fill in some details later. and i was just speaking from my gut, as opposed to figuring out exactly what my char should say/do. anyways, im open to suggestions on roleplaying style. as i kinda feel like i was doing it wrong. im looking for any d&d game that will have me. i have friday night and all saturday to play. preferably a continuous game, but ill play in a one off. or in short campaigns. really im just dying to play the game. please let me know if youve got a spot for me in your group. and thanks for reading.
