Add Shadow of the Demon Lord to the Games List

To help players find a game of Shadow of the Demon Lord, I suggest adding it to the list of Games.
I agree ENTIRELY!

Agreed
Wouldn’t this be easier if the process for adding games to the LFG itself were better? Here’s a suggestion that does that... <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2216500/make-a-n" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2216500/make-a-n</a>...
Yes. See my thoughts in your post. But until then, I work within the system presently in place. &nbsp;;-)

Hello, GM's and Players of the game that you would like to see listed and find that game in Roll20. In the meantime, try to use the Matching Keywords field to make these games searchable. For any Shadow of the Demon Lord GM, what you want to do is include the keyword phrase "Shadow of the Demon Lord": in the TITLE of your game, and also in the 1st paragraph of the Description text, and also under Edit Tags on your My Games page of Roll20. For the GAME in the drop-down, use "Other Games". Then, the game will come up under "Find A Game" if the searcher types "Shadow of the Demon Lord" in the Matching Keywords field, like this: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/lfg/search/Shadow%20of%20th" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/lfg/search/Shadow%20of%20th</a>... In this way we can start to build a community of game listings around that game, and that is what usually leads to game titles being added on the drop-down list. Wiki docs for this, <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Looking_for_Group#Other_Ga" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Looking_for_Group#Other_Ga</a>... If you feel a game should be listed, encourage your community members to play and post often. The more community attention a title receives the more likely it is to be added to the list.
Done and done. But it still isn't coming up under search... perhaps because my game is full?

Sherm said: Done and done. But it still isn't coming up under search... perhaps because my game is full? Right, only games that have open slots, and the GM activates the Find A Group listing, will appear in the search. &nbsp; However, also, if you make changes to such game-details, it can take up to 2 hours to appear in Find A Group. &nbsp; And last, it's worth doing some more practical testing to find out exactly how that Matching Keywords field will respond to different Game titles, in the case of the current game discussion I'm thinking that the keywords shadow & demon are qualifying keywords that should be searchable in Matching Keywords. Super-short and common words like of & the usually don't yield anything in search, they may be scrubbed or non-indexed.

Sorry to necro what may be an old post. I tend to play with my established group and would not be be looking for new players; yet, I too want this game listed. To contribute to passing the mythical threshold, should I enter a LFP and set the number of players to my current group size and keep the new players checkbox empty? I have already updated the game titles to reflect that they are Demon Lord related. &nbsp; Thanks in advance!!
I too support the idea of Shadow of the Demon Lord spreading itself into the listings of Roll20.
Yes please! Add Shadow of the Demon Lord to the list!
Oh yeah add it please! This game is amazing!
I'd like to see it added&nbsp;
By the dark ones please!
Do it for the children!
upvote please
Hail! Here is to hoping it gets added! Also I think the Tag: SoTDL, would help as well.

Necro. Still not added. While some pretty obscure games are on the list...

The games dropdown menus exist to help standardize the options available (example: 4E vs. 4th Edition vs. D&D4, etc). No matter how many games are listed, some may not make the cut. Games are added to the list periodically. This ensures obscure listings gain greater visibility when sorted via the Other Games option and helps keep away “empty” search listings for underrepresented titles. If you feel a game should be listed, encourage your community members to play and post often. The more community attention a title receives the more likely it is to be added to the list. The Suggestions forum will never be a viable way of getting games into the dropdown menu, so I will close this to release everyone's votes.
