I am a new player, and I'm currently with a group of other players both new and veterans. And we have room for another player. We are playing D&D 5e which most of us are somewhat new to, so kinda a learning experience. We're planning on having our sessions weekly on Monday evenings starting at around 7-8 est/cst to possibly past midnight if need be. The age range is varied, from 17-27. We're also an LGBTQ+ friendly group. So if you have issues with that, it's automatic nope. We also are more focused on narrative and true-to-character role play than just beating monsters up and getting rich. The DM has a homebrew map and lore built (in case you don't know what that means, she has made it pretty much from scratch and included all the staple D&D races and gods and everything else). The group right now is composed of a Sorcerer (myself), a warlock, a barbarian, a cleric and a npc halfing rogue that the DM controls, so that leaves lots of room for your class options.
