LFP Need 1-2 more for homebrew 5e experience: Thorasil!

Will likely be doing some sort of interview process so please keep that in mind! Hey there folks! Starting a fresh nightly campaign in a very fun and cool setting and looking for five new adventurers to tag along! Just a heads up, I've been playing D&D since I was little, and this is my first time DMing my personally created campaign and world! Also since it is my first go, we'll be starting relatively small, but of course if everyone's a fan of the way it's going, there's definitely room for expansion! I do have a few requirements that should be met, but since I'm a fairly new DM, there's plenty of wiggle room :3 20+ year old Have a microphone (and know how to use push to talk) and use Discord Have a good character awareness and understand group dynamic It's all about the roleplay! Flavor is what counts over powergaming! Be able to crack jokes and take 'em like a champ Be able to make Wednesday nights 10pm EST What's preferred for my search is an even mix of guys and girls, avid roleplayers who are quick thinkers and are there for the immersion and most importantly THE FUN!!! Hey Fence, Been looking for a 5e homebrew campaign. Will this be more of a sandbox?  Info: Paul, 22, EST About me: I recently graduated college with a BE/MS in Electrical Engineering and will be starting a doctoral program in the Fall. I also have a twitch channel where I stream my D&D stuff on roll20.  D&D Exp.: I currently DM a curse of strahd campaign on monday nights and have DM'd a PoTA campaign in the past. I've played  5e since it was released practically and before that played 3.5e since I was 12. I am also a firm believer of flavor over power gaming as I find min/maxing characters to truly diminish the RP experience of D&D. I watch Critical Role & West Marches also (if you know what those shows are).

D&D/other game exp: Mostly I've stuck to Pathfinder and 5e, I switched from Pathfinder to 5e as soon as it released and I love it! Were both Canadian and really good people and fun to be around  D&D/other game exp:D&d like 10 years maybe 15 on and off, Doug has alot more then me I play alot of computer games like diablo 3 league of legends magic risk and of course Riskopoly Iv dabbled in a few other tabletops like Cullof cuthulu and Vampires not to much maybe a campaign or 2 of each d&d is where the exp is at  Doug plays Arc Landmark even tho i say its lame and he actually got me into Magic 

Hey Fence! I've been itching to get into a 5e game and this one sounds like it will be awesome. Name: Keith Age: 32 Time Zone: Central I'm in the military and stationed in Texas. I've been playing rpg's on and off again for 10+ years. I started with 3.0 and 3.5 and have played all sorts of games (Shadowrun, Savage Worlds, Pathfinder, RIFTS etc.) I occasionally DM a 5e game for my two kids and have DM'd other systems as well. I'm not a fan of playing overly cliché character types, but try to make interesting and unique characters. One of my favorite characters played was a dwarven warlock who would give monologues to his enemies about how he was the most feared and powerful Dwarlock in all the land. This quickly became a running joke with the party who frequently reminded him that was in fact the only Dwarlock in all the land. That game ended only because half the party was being transferred to new duty stations. But anyway, hope to hear back from you and good luck with the game.

Been played rpgs on roll20 since 2012, primarily as a GM since I like being the one that knows everything since being a player means I'll have to discover everything! But thats the fun of it. I've met some good friends on roll20 & hope to keep meeting new people & have a great time. D&D/other game exp: D&D 3.5, 4.0, 5.0, Mutants & Masterminds 3e, Warhammer 40k RPGs, A Song of Ice & Fire rpg, Paranoia XP I have skype & discord already, use them both for my own games. Have a quiet room, no feedback present. Alot of my characters tend to be lawful neutral since I like them having a tactical & orderly mindset, (shun the murder-hobo). I have a couple ideas I'd like to work on/discuss with you if you'd think I'd make a good addition to the game. I strongly prefer roleplay over combat bashing which is one of the reasons I want to sign up for your game, since I believe creativity & cleverness should always trump the roll of the die. In terms of party, I'm capable of sitting back & letting someone act if they got it handle, but also getting involved if the party needs a 'push' since I know it can be rough sometimes when there's so many possibilities.

Im only familiar with 5e and ive played it for a few months now, pretty laid back personality and when it comes to in game stuff i enjoy a good mix of combat and RP. My characters tend to lean towards the comedic side but its not bad enough that itll get in the way of serious moments and stuff like that.
