Hi Connor! The version in the page toolbar is just a thumbnail that is based on the largest graphic on your Page. There are several possibilities. Your map might be on the GM Layer (making it appear semi-transparent), or it might have dragged-onto-the-tabletop kind of small due to the grid size, and needs to be stretched with the graphics handles to show up better. To find out if this might be the case, I would try click-and-drag across the entire page to see if you can Select it and see it then by the handles, and go ahead and try this technique on each Layer mainly Token Layer, Map Layer, and GM Layer. Another idea is go into Page Settings and change your Background color to something where your graphic will show up better so you can find it if it is there.
