[3.5] Best character sheet?

My friends and I are planning a 3.5 game, but I'm finding the character sheets very complicated. Particularly the spellbook portion. Is there something I'm missing here? Is there a way to import spells or does it require a macro edit for each one? Could it work to use the Community 5e sheets in it's place? I prefrer the function of adding spells on that one. If it helps I have a Pro account. Your help is appreciated.

You could also look at using the pathfinder sheet. 3.5 and PF are pretty similar, right? I've only ever played PF, so I apologize if this is a useless suggestion.

Pathfinder and 3.5 have differences in Skills and abilities, feats per level, etc. The sheets are only superficially compatible.
