Hey all. New to Roll20. My MMO buddies got me hooked on Pathfinder using the Roll20 system, and I have to say - i love it. The thing is; they always seem to have an excuse as to why some can't play. That's fine; I can't blame 'em. Real life should come first. But, I have the taste for it now, and I want more. I'm not sure how this goes, so I'll give a little information about my availability, a little about me personally, my preferred character, and preferred playstyle: AVAILABILITY: - Pretty much any day. I'm basically on vacation until mid-November, so I'm free any time. I'd very much like to start a game as soon as possible. - I live in CDT Time Zone. GMT-5. Available for any time of day. ABOUT ME: - Kind of new to D&D and Pathfinder. I have a good basic understanding of how things work. A good GM would make all the difference. I'm an immersioner / RPer in MMOs, so I have a lot of "experience" with my preferred character's personae. I'm aware of the potential in RP for Meta-gaming, God-Moding, etc., and feel as if I do a very good job at not coming across that way. - I'm over 30, but my inner child pretty much runs the place! :P PREFERRED CHARACTER: - I would prefer to use a Psionic class. I spent a lot of time preparing a starting Pathfinder Psionic, and I'm very pleased with it. It kind of ties into the "personae" that I've been RPing with in the past. - I'd be willing to message my character sheet to whomever would like to see it. Obviously, some changes may have to be made depending on the GM's method of character creation / point allotment, and interpretation of the variable rules of the class. PREFERRED PLAYSTYLE: - Having only played a few games in the past, I'm not sure if these even needs to be said - but I'd prefer an RP-style game. I'd prefer to play with MATURE people. That's a relative term, of course, but it's important. Twenty-somethings and up comes to mind, but I don't want to be so limiting. - Nothing is a deal-breaker here, but I find it easier to In-Character (IC) chat using text, and Out-of-Character (OOC) chat with a voice client. So, my character might "say" something (or emote, yell, etc..) in text; but all normal game coordination could be done using Roll20's voice client or another client (TS, Vent, Mumble, etc..) (Is that pretty much the norm?) Anyway - feel free to message me here. I'l make sure I receive email alerts, and should be able to respond quickly. - Thanks! "Roelon Geraux"
