A short vid I made for how I run D&D5E on Roll20 and potentionally other games.

Hi! So my players had been asking how I set up my D&D sessions and how I run my games so smoothly. So I decided to make a short demo vid of some of the features I have learnt on Roll20 over the four years using it. I fell in love with the API and learn't how to understand some of its more basic functions over the years. I have collected quite a number of scripts from the API forums/library and kept them as files on my PC for use later. Over the years I consolidated the "useful" scripts to me that helped facilitate the flow of the game on roll20 to what I have now.  Now this is a short demo of what I use and trying to explain in short, why I do it this way. There are some comments on what I have seen in other DM games who try to use the system but are unsure on how to do it and try to figure it out in-game. This isn't intended as an insult or offence to anyone, it is just advice to help keep the game running smoothly instead of just coming to a halt and digging in to how to make it do what you want. PS. I'm not sure if this falls under a grey area of being unrelated to Roll20 or not, I assume it did and posted it here. So forgiefs if you rule it not to be so! The link to the Video.  DM DEMO

I don't think it could get any more related to Roll20 if it tried! I think new and experienced users alike will get a great amount of benefit from watching your video. Thank you for taking the time to make it and sharing it here!
I would like to see more of these videos. You should explain what kind of account you have and what features you are using. Just from watching the video it looks like you are using API scripts which i don't have. So yes users like me would be interested in some of these scripts if you don't have to have API to use them.

Ah yeah, i'll go into more detail later but yes, almost all these scripts will use API. The only exception is the target features of the 5E Shaped Sheet.
To paraphrase... "To get the most out of roll20, upgrade to Pro and install a bunch of api scripts." :D And yes, I (formerlly HoneyBadger) made the Alter Script which you or someone else bundled together with Health Aura Tint.

Yes, API is lord, API is helpful. :P
Someone should make a video showing how to set up Roll20 for smooth gameplay without access to the API.

Great video tutorial! I didn't see the link to that bookmarlet for showing more pages at a time, but I found it  here .
Ah I never got around to finding all the links. I wasn't sure how much of an interest there would be in peeps seeing my setup and wanting to copy it / understanding it. When i'm home ill grab links and descriptions for all of them and do a full run and video of my stuff. Ill see about a non api way of running d&d 5e on roll20. It should be a simple matter of changing sheets to something less demanding than 5e shaped.
