Need a player to fill a spot for a saturday 8PM EST group. 5E

Hey folks, had a player vanish on us, and we need a replacement. Please let me know if you are available on a weekly basis at this time slot. If so, contact me tonight, or tomorrow and we can see if you'll be a good fit. This is first come, first serve as long as you are an intelligent, mature, and reliable player. This is a 5E campaign, homebrew world, but mostly straightforward ruleset. very little homebrew rules. Party composition: Rogue, Sorc, Cleric, Barb No tiefling, dragonborn allowed, and classes are just from the PHB. Let me know!

Sounds interesting.  I have a human fighter I could try out but he might need a little DM fiat in order to work.  Basically his first feat would be Magic Initiate for Eldritch Blast and Find Familiar, but the familiar I was hoping for was a sprite.  If not allowed I can build whatever the party really needs (though it sounds like the party's pretty well off save for maybe a face.)

I'm pretty steadfast in keeping things straight from the book. So that particular feat, I'd say no. But if you are interested, let me know if/when you'll be free and we can chat. The class is completely up to you. we really just need the body/face atm. Thanks!

Hm...well, I get off work in a couple of hours, but I have family visiting for the weekend so I don't know if I can talk over skype, but I can still type.  I'll PM my skype info and we can talk there.  If the fighter won't work I could try making a pally face.

Ouch.  Shouldn't be a problem.  I have a game at 2 but it usually ends by 5PM PST.  What level do we start and what do we roll for stats?

Well, It's not so much looking for a backup player, as a player to make the sessions. If you feel you cannot be sure you can make it, I will respectfully pass sir. We've already had enough hiccups trying to get this group started.

Hi, I'm fairly new to D&D, but have been reading the 5e player's manual and have spent the better half of a day looking for a group that I could play with.  This time slot would be perfect for me and I could make it consistently every week without fail.  I have a High Elf Wizard that I'd really like to work on, but am flexible if I need to make something more compatible with your group.
