I've been working on this game for a few years now, and I feel like it's ready to get written - I just have trouble sitting in a room and writing in a vacuum. I think putting the ideas into play will help me get the thing in working order. So I'm looking for a group of 3 players for about two months of weekly play who can handle not having solid, playtested rules. The system is a Fate variant, with the mechanisms repurposed to communicate player agency and campaign focus. The setting is inspired by Kerberos Club, but focuses on the old west and the oregon trail. There are four distinct time periods: The pre civil war era, civil war era, reconstruction era, and the gilded age, each with an increasing level of strange, fantasy magic and steampunk technology.  The game starts off with a focused experience: A board game of traveling west on the oregon trail and roleplaying picking up in the dead of winter, wherever the caravan came to a halt. I expect the character creation would last 2 weeks, which leaves 6 weeks to test out my hacks to aspects/skill list/and relationship map mechanics. I'm free most nights after 6 pm CST, except for tuesday and sunday. I'd prefer something like friday nights but i'm willing to work with the group.
