Hello. I'm looking into testing the kickstarter-funded RPG Delta Green that had it's Agents (player) rulebook released a couple of months ago (i think). I'm looking for a couple of people that would like to test this out. The time will be decided between players but aiming for roughly before 10PM (GMT +1). This will start out as a one-shot but this might change if people had fun with it and want to do this weekly. And for the love of god please have a good enough mic that we can hear you clearly. We will be using Skype. More details will be shared once you are in. Please post below if you interested. We are looking for at least 2 players. Also please answer the following questions: 1. Are you familiar with Delta Green? 2. What is your experience with RPGs? If none of you have ever heard of Delta Green then i will just post it's description here: Born of the U.S. government’s 1928 raid on the degenerate coastal town of Innsmouth, Massachusetts, the covert agency known as Delta Green spent four decades opposing the forces of darkness with honor, but without glory. Stripped of sanction after a disastrous 1969 operation in Cambodia, Delta Green’s leaders made a secret pact: to continue their work without authority, without support, and without fear. Delta Green agents slip through the system, manipulating the federal bureaucracy while pushing the darkness back for another day—but often at a shattering personal cost. In Delta Green: The Role-Playing Game, you are one of those agents. You’re the one they call when unnatural horrors seep into the world. You fight to keep cosmic evil from claiming human lives and sanity. You conspire to cover it all up so no one else must see what you’ve seen—or learn the terrible truths you’ve discovered. PS: Date is changed to Saturday
Hi there, I'd need to know what day you're planning on running this on but you can definitely count me as interested, Delta Green has always held a certain appeal to me, there's something about playing as the men in black that holds a certain interest. Not to mention Lovecraftian horror in the modern day isn't something most people are willing to explore, preferring to stick to the early-mid 20th century. Anyway, onto the questions: 1) I am aware of Delta Green, I've always had an interest, in it but I've never been fortunate enough to play it although I have a little experience with the Call of Cthulhu games so make of that what you will. 2) My earliest exposure to RPGs and more advanced tabletop games in general was in my early/mid-teens, at least in any serious capacity though honestly I've only really started to play regularly and seriously in the past few years though. Granted I'm not the most experienced player but I'm a fast learner and I wouldn't call myself inexperienced. I won't throw down a massive list of every game I've ever played but a short sample would include D&D, Pathfinder, Warhammer RPGs, Call of Cthulhu and World of Darkness games among others.
