Greetings all - we have added a new section on Paid GMing to the Roll20 Code of Conduct : Paid GMing Links to Patreon (or other Patreon-like sites) are only permitted for pre-approved community members who are contributing either Character Sheets or API Scripts. If you wish to solicit your players directly for funding you may do so privately, but no such links are permitted in a public forum. For the time being, paid Game Mastering is allowed without prior approval, if the Game Master posts the following disclaimer: “ This game will require payment for my time as a Game Master at a rate of (to be filled with your rates). Be advised that payment will occur off site via (method of payment; be advised that no outside link to a service such as Patreon is allowed here) and cannot be enforced by the Roll20 staff. ” If you are interested in attempting to set up a Paid GMing game in Roll20, we now ask that you include the disclaimer mentioned above in all LFG forum posts and LFG listings. Any posts or listings found to be non-compliant by our mods will be removed until the disclaimer has been added. Thanks and happy gaming!
