Hi folks! I'm a casual RPer who is starting to get their feet wet with D&D. I played a couple of White Wolf games back in college, but nothing consistent over the past few years or so. My main interest is D&D 4E as I'm going to be playing Pathfinder with a group of work friends and am really interested to get a feel for the 4E system which looks to be a lot of fun. As for timing and scheduling, Thursdays don't work for me at all but other nights aren't set in stone. I have a pretty length commute so there are times where I'll be getting home later rather than sooner, but should be able to work with most people's schedules on weeknights. Friday and Saturday nights are often used to be social with local friends, so while these are open sometimes I can't guarantee something like a weekly commitment. For D&D 4E experience I just recently played the last session of D&D Encounters at a local game shop, and I've played the Wrath of Ashardalon board game a few times. I've been doing a fair bit of reading on D&D 4E source material so I'm somewhat familiar on some content, but can for all intents and purposes be considered a newbie. While I'll be up for any kind of campaign, I'm particularly interested in those that have a good mix of combat and role play. I continue to hear about how 4E doesn't have good character growth or role play potential and would like to see how that plays out in a session that looks to incorporate that. A bit lengthy (apologies) but hope that there are some GMs out there looking for another player! This site's made me psyched to delve into online tabletop gaming.
