Next Game, Not Scheduled Please note that the game schedule feature will not be updated except to activate the Looking for Players feature. Please follow this page to stay informed of upcoming sessions (or the Schedule thread for the campaign you are involved in). Also, please do not reply to this thread with interest to join an upcoming game. Contact the DM through PM or reply to the adventure thread if one exists. Character Limitations There is no limit to the number of characters you may have on Gamers for Christ. However, each player may only run and earn XP with one PC during any given session. Any additional characters assigned to a player by a DM are treated as an NPC for that session, NPCs count towards the number of characters involved in a combat when dividing XP, but do NOT earn XP. Spectators Members logged in to watch must refrain from disrupting a session. Please do not use voice chat and ONLY use text chat to reserve a seat. Whispers should also be limited as to not disrupt attention away from the current session. New DMs If you are interested in being promoted to a DM, PM me and I will promote you. If you are just starting out as a DM with Gamers for Christ, here are some easy steps to follow to get going. Select your adventure site. Either choose from among the available campaign locations or adventure paths that we have available (right click and open in new tab - Campaign Locations & Adventure Paths ) or select a new one of your choice. If you are selecting a new one, be sure that it meets the standards of The Constitution of Gamers for Christ . Once you have enough material for at least one session, announce your game on this thread by providing the information shown below. NOTE: You will have the best results if you announce the game at least one week before the session date. Start a new thread with your adventure in the title to recruit players, share a link to the campaign, discuss characters, etc... If you do not get a minimum of 4 players for your first session, let me know and I will invite new members to the group to fill seats for your follow-up session. Most importantly... HAVE FUN! Session Scheduling This campaign is open for all members to DM. Because of this, we will need to coordinate session times. That is the main purpose of this thread. Some plots may require specific characters. If you are planning to DM a session, please respond to this thread with the following information: Title: The name of your adventure. Challenge: The party level (four PCs) recommended.. Term: The length of the adventure. I.e. "One-shot", "Trilogy", "4-6 sessions" "Ongoing", etc... FR Calendar Start Date: The Forgotten Realms calendar date that your session begins with. Introduction: Give a brief description of what you will be running. Date(s) Reserved: The date and time (UTC) that you would like to run the game as well as the length of the session. Clock Time Zone Converter Please allow 2 hours after any other scheduled session in case it goes into overtime. To see what times are available, check the Game Schedule handout (update appropriately with your scheduled game). Seats Reserved and Open: Note any PCs that are required for the adventure and how many remaining open seats are available.
