Title: The Curse of Strahd Challenge: Beginning at Level 1 and going till Level 10 Term: Long-Term Campaign FR Calendar Start Date- TBD Introduction: UNDER RAGING STORM CLOUDS, A LONE figure stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. The vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stares down a sheer cliff at the village below. A cold, bitter wind spins dead leaves about him, billowing his cape in the darkness. Lightning splits the clouds overhead, casting stark white light across him. Strahd turns to the sky, revealing the angular muscles of his face and hands. He has a look of power-and of madness. His once handsome face is contorted by a tragedy darker than the night itself. Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind's howling increases as Strahd turns his gaze backto the village. Far below, yet not beyond his ken, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd's face forms a twisted smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and he knows why they have come-all according to his plan. He, the master of Ravenloft, will attend to them. Another lightning flash rips through the darkness, its thunder echoing through the castle's towers. But Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind-or perhaps a lone wolf-fills the midnight air. The master of Raven loft is having guests for dinner. And you are invited. Title:   Princes of the Apocalype Challenge: Level 2-3 FR Calendar Start Date   1486 DR, the Year of the Nether Mountain Scrolls Term: on going to be played every 3 weeks Introduction: A Terrible threat gathers in the North. Throughout this region of the Forgotten Realm, savage marauders bring destruction. Monsters are on the prowl, preying on flocks, rampaging through croplands, and attacking homesteads and travelers. In settlements, discord and suspicion grow. Sinister strangers lurk in the shadows, whispering about how everything is soon to change. This year brought an unseasonably warm and stormy spring, tales spread of flooding, windstorms, wildfires, and tremors. Your travels have brought you to town of Red Larch where rumors of strange happenings have caught your interest. This campaign will follow the Princes of the Apocalypse adventure. Take note this game will take place 5 years in the past and your characters will be locked. I have ran this game before and it took the players 54 sessions to complete from level 3 to 12.
