This is a new group and we just lost our cleric do to life. The group is looking for another caster. There are no homebrew classes or races so please don't ask. The races available are human (no variant), dragonborne, halfling, or gnome. The group is a fun one and is split between new players and experienced ones. Our next game is this Friday. This is a home brewed world and a bit of a sandbox. I would say more combat than role playing, but you will need to role play. I'm okay with new players as long as you have a Player's Handbook. Here is some world background. History tells us of the time when the kingdoms of men, elves and
dwarves dominated the continent of Ocari. It was the Golden Age of Man
where peace reigned and the races of darkness were kept at bay.
Then one day the sun turned dark, the ground violently
trembled, and the seas rose. Destruction on a global scale was unleased
and untold lives died that day. After the seas and ground quieted down
and the sun returned to Ocari, it shined down on a much different
world. The civilizations of the world were cast down into ruin leaving
only small pockets of humans, elves, and dwarves. With nothing to keep
them at bay the dark races scoured the land, pillaging and ravaging as
they took over the fallen cities.
Generations later there are still no kingdoms of man, only
isolated villages and towns eking out meager existences. Cults,
powerful wizards, and denizens of the dark now control large areas of
land. It is the Dark Age of Man. Any questions let me know.
