I'd love to play as a character in either the A Song of Ice and Fire or Harry Potter universe, but unfortunately there a no fitting entries in the Find a Game section for my timetable at the moment. I hope that I’ll be able to find some like-minded persons, who want to immerge themselves in one of these fantastic worlds as well, with the help of this forum post instead. I’d love to either join an already existing group or form a new one. A bit about myself: My name is Lukas; I’m 24 and a student. I’d be free to play on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Fridays from 7pm onwards until midnight (GMT+2 time zone), and even a bit longer on Fridays. I’m playing roleplaying games since roughly a year and at the moment I’m GMing a StarWars campaign here on roll20. What else is there to say? I’m a role-player, not a roll-player and enjoy immersing myself in my character including letting my characters speak in accents. I’m fluent in both English and German and can play speaking either language. Both mic and video are available as well as Skype, Teamspeak and Discord. I’m quite well versed in both the ASOIAF and Harry Potter universes. I’ve read George R.R. Martin’s epic series several times, two of the three Dunk&Egg stories, The World of Ice and Fire and seen the first four and a half seasons of the TV-series. Furthermore, I’ve recently got and read the SIFRP Game of Thrones Ed. Core Rule Book and Campaign Guide, and I’m eager to try out the roleplaying system. What’s left to say about Harry Potter? – Well, I’ve read the books and seen the films. I know that there is no official Harry Potter RPG but several fan-made ones. I’ve skimmed most of them and would be happy to play with either one of these systems or a home-brewed one. Concerning the topic of GMing: I’d prefer not to GM as I’m already acting as GM for my Thursdays’ group. Instead, I’d like to have the opportunity to play as a player for once. Furthermore, I’ve got no satisfactory idea for an overarching story arc fit for a group of Hogwarts students and I don’t think that I’ve got enough experience as a GM to handle a house chronicle worthy of a fantasy universe made by a storytelling master like George R. R. Martin. But maybe there is someone out there, willing to GM or already GMing, who would generously let me join in her or his campaign or who would offer to start a new campaign in one of these aforementioned fantastic worlds? Of course, I’d be happy to help the prospective GM in any way possible.
