Dresden Files, 9 to 11 PM EST, Every other Thursday (Closed)

The game will use The Dresden File Roleplaying Game from Evil Hat Production. We'll play using Google+ Hangouts with the Roll20 App to manage dice rolling. The first session will be on Thursday, Feb 7, 2013. All players will need to be able to use a headset and microphone. Echos and Feedback from the speakers seem to be a consistent problem when headsets are not used. Use of a camera is optional. Fair warning to those interested in playing. This is my first attempt at running (or even playing) the Dresden RPG. It is also my first attempt at running a game with Roll20 and Google+ Hangouts. I've also ran my first game as DM in 1984, and I have no idea how many different gaming systems I've played since then. So this isn't the first time I've jumped into something new. It might be a wee bit rough in the beginning, but it should smooth out quickly. I am looking for 3 to 6 players to protect the city of Hope Beach, SC from the dark forces. They will be the heroes of the story. They are the good guys now, regardless of what past they might have had. We'll be playing at the Chest Deep power level (8 refresh, 30 skill points, skill cap at Superb) If you are interested in joining the game, please send me a private message with the template, high concept, trouble and name that you would like to use for your character. I also want an email address that I can use to send you notifications about the game. If you are not familiar with the Dresden RPG but would still like to play, contact me via private message and I'll walk you through the process. I'd like to know we have enough player interest before asking for the character's background, rising conflict, and first adventure story, but you can always send that in right away too if you have it ready to go. I would love to join and play, but I have not played DF before. I would really love to give it a shot!
Dusty, I've updated the links in the main post. I think you'll find most of what is needed to create a character concept even if you don't have a copy of the books. There is no need to have played the game before. Heck, I haven't even played the game before.
I don't know anything about the RPG game but I love dresden files like crazy and I've heard the game is fun. I'd be up for it if I can make my way through the game by february.
Put me down as interested as well. What do I need to do to join?
Dbl Post Sorry!
There is now an official web site for the campaign. It can be found at https://sites.google.com/site/abumpinthenight/ At the moment, it contains my notes on the location.
And of course - the link to apply to the game. http://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/1925/a-bump-in-the-night
What is the title of the book for this game? I would like to find a copy ASAP. Looks like there are two on the website.
The Dresden Files Roleplaying Game - Volume One Your Story, ISBN is 978-0-9771534-7-3
Thanks Keith. I got a good deal on both as a PDF. Going over them now and will get you a character to look over probably by tomorrow morning if I do not have any surprises tonight.

IT's pretty cool too! I'm still reading through the core material, and am gonna try to build a Character today, Keith. Will post when finished!
I've been trying to gather any resources that might come in handy for character creation on the campaign web site. If you have any suggestions for links, let me know. LOL I originally spelled links with a k. I'm not sure I needed those types of suggestions.
If you have applied to the game and not heard from me yet, please make sure that you sent the basic information about your character to me, and that you have clearly identified who you applied as.
