Anyone willing to GM Apocalypse World? - occasional / bi-weekly / one off. Any time evenings until 3am GMT

Are there any experienced AW MC's out there? I need someone to barf forth apocalypta! Commitment to roleplaying on the edge, dedication and gratitude offered in exchange. :D Once I learn the system better I am happy to swap to be GM also.

I might be inclined. Here would be my requests to consider doing it: Mature group of no more than 4 At least some experience with Apocalypse World or its hacks (e.g. Dungeon World) No Thursdays, or starting before 7 pm Eastern Voice chat, not a text-only game I'd also want a dedicated Session Zero prior to actual play to get everyone on the same page. I imagine it would be a short run, perhaps 3 sessions or so of 3 to 4 hours each. That's a lot of content for this kind of game.

Yep - sounds good to me. About me - I'm old enough to have picked up my first RPG over 20 years ago, played AW once before, read the book through, played DW 2-3 times. I host a monthly Fiasco game here. Do you think we could get this going on Monday's at 7pm Eastern? ...And thank the gods of cyberspace it won't be a text-only game.

Yes, that day and time would be fine for me. First session would be Session Zero. I also started gaming over 20 years ago. I've played in about a dozen AW games, could stand to read the book through to refresh my memory, played and GMed in countless DW games. I've played Fiasco a few times, but it's been a while. I guess I'd be okay with recruiting anyone who has some story-game experience if not a *World game, with *World game players getting preference. I just don't want to have to un-train primarily D&D players of their habits in order to play if you know what I mean. (Having said that, I mostly play D&D. I just know from personal experience that it can be a tough transition to jump into these kinds of games if D&D or the like is all you know.) Let's see who we can get here. I'll open a proper recruitment thread by the weekend if this thread doesn't do it.

Yep - agree. I know there are lots of great story driven roleplayers here. So I'm sure we can pick people up. I don't have many people who are good for that time slot my real life - but I could put a shout out to the 30+ Fiasco players registered for my game... that's pretty indie and player led (no GM even.)

The less GM the better in my view. You're the stars. I have a big pool I could draw from for this, but I'm quite interested in meeting some fresh faces. I learn more from different people. The campaign page is up. I've got some resources in the forums already. It's listed as LFG . I'll post up a new thread over the weekend if we haven't filled the group by Friday night.
