The group fly up towards the flying city, and are captured by some force  cages that bring them into some sort of 'port' area. They start to explore, but are attacked by some Seskii that have had some sort of electronic voiceboxes added to them. However the language that the Seskii yell at them is incomprehensible to anyone in the group. They head through and start to explore the ancient city, but head pretty much directly towards a massive skyscraper in the centre of the city that has a blue glow around it. They come across an automaton who directs them to leave immediately, but when they do not it starts to attack them. Kell is able to hack into it however and disable it. He takes it's fancy white robe as his prize. When they reach the skyscraper, they realise that it cannot be entered. Some force device in the building has surrounded the entire structure in an impenetrable barrier. The device can only be shut down from within. They backtrack and find some stairways leading below the surface to some sort of blocked transportation network. They find that the code from the treasure map opens locked doorways down that lead to much lower levels. They find an ancient transport carriage down here and are able to get it operating. They travel through various interesting areas, but pause when they get to an area with many large gravity generator disks. However one is wobbling slightly and putting off a horrific noise. They realise that it would be in their interest to repair it. However their efforts to do so shut down the gravity inhibitors for the city momentarily and the city starts plunging towards the ground. They are all injured badly, and Kell is knocked unconscious before they are able to realign the disk and bring the city back to stability. They return to the carriage and rest.
