Hey all, I've had my game set up for days all ready to go. I've installed the star wars character sheet and the dice roller but all of a sudden today the dice no longer have pictures. I've reinstalled the script but no joy. What can I do?
damn =[ I've done all of the things they reccomend like clear cache, disable addons, turn off antivirus but no joy. I've logged something on github
I too have this problem and have tried all the above. I assume there is some sort of API issue but wouldn't know where to start. I know this was working fine a week or so ago as our game has been running for a couple of months now. Game starts in seven minutes so any help would be fantastic!
So I've found the problem. The place that holds the images has gone down galacticcampaigns.com . Hi everyone ! I normally have a game planned for tonight, and with that problem that's not possible. What will happen now ? I pay the pro subscription only to use the Star Wars Dice API. Roll20 doesn't have any plan to have that RPG system integrated into their site ?
Hello everyone, Thank you for reporting this issue. The domain that was hosting the image resources for this API Script has expired. This script was not created by the Roll20 staff, but by one of our community members. Legally, we can't officially integrate the dice without a licensing agreement with Fantasy Flight Games. We're looking into the matter to see if there's any help we can offer the original script author.
Just a bump for Kristin, but the script author updated on his end and is just awaiting Roll20's approval. Thanks for the quick work on this everyone!
I was able to fix the dice results by going to the creators site and copying the code over onto a custom API sheet, but the character sheets need an update to redirect the images to a new address. It's playable now at least ....
Is there any word on this yet? I still cant see the images in my game, do I need to do anything on my end to get it to work as the sheets are still not showing the images.
The sheet and the script have been updated by the author and the changes were pushed out this morning. Dice in new rolls should work, but old rolls will still not show up as they are still trying to retrieve the images from the old, now dead, source.
