The team finished exploring the ruined town of Thundertree, meeting with an odd old man named Reidoth who made them tea and warned them of the dragon in town. As the party cleared the town steadily, they came upon a farmhouse with doors and windows that had been barred from the inside. Naeris, after spotting movement through one of the slats, could not open the shutters, so she called upon Zaradur, who opened the window. Aggressively. With his own body. As Zaradur picked himself up (as well as the dragon cultist that he had landed on), the stunned robed men in the room demanded to know who he was and what he was doing. Zaradur, thinking quickly, said "looking for treasure," at which point Helm kicked the door open and began hewing into the surprised cultists. After a short, lopsided battle, the group found a small coffer containing three diamonds, each worth 100gp, and a potion of flying on a cord around his neck. Zaradur knocked the man he had landed on top of unconscious with a good punch, and when he was woken up and interrogated, he told the group about the Cult of the Dragon, which he had been recruited into by his ne'er do well brother in law. After a lecture on family from Sigrun (through the shattered remains of the window Zaradur had rocketed through), the cultist was released and ran away. The group rested in the farmhouse (after a short battle with twig blights nearby, during which Zaradur nearly set the town on fire with a thrown torch), and then set out to the town square to finish searching the town just after nightfall. As they battled zombies in the small town keep, Sigrun noticed a pair of green lights near the top of the tower, which nearly froze her in fear and panic. As she and everyone else stared up at the tower, trying to see what was up there, a smooth voice behind them whispered "Good evening." As they turned, Venomfang swiped at Raynor, catching him in his claw and carrying him off into the night sky, despite the group's best efforts...
