Greetings all! Thank you for your interest in joing my homebrew campaign, The Plane Walker. I am a new DM who has gathered a group of friends to start our epic journey throuhg my world. With this campaign you will explore my world of Zanzibar. I have posted my intro description to give you an idea of what makes up our plane and world. We currently have 3 players plus myself who will be going on this journey and we are looking for 2-3 people to join us. My ideal group would consist of 6 players. Play time is currently scheduled for Thursdays at 7:00pst/10:00 est, first session will be on Oct 27th. They will be 3 hour sessions. However you MUST be flexible as there will be times when the day will need to be changed. More than likely this game will be strictly played during the week not weekends. A little about myself, I have been an avid D&D addict for the last year. I have played in two campaigns and consume whatever D&D videos I can find. My inspiration for being a DM comes from Matt Mercer and Critical Role which I have seen every episode. I have sunk a lot of hours and personal money into this campaign to create an enjoyable experience for everyone. Rules: This will be a D&D 5e campaign. Any material officially published by Wizards of the Waverly Coast is fair game for spells, classes, races, etc. In addition to this I have created a homebrew class called the "Scoundrel" that is an option. For stats, you have two opportunities to roll for your starting stats, if you are not satisfied with them after both, you can use the point buy system. On your rolls anything below an 8 can be replaced by an 8 if you desire. Currently we have a blade singer wizard. Would like a good mix of classes to maximize the experience. You must be 18 and independent to apply (don't want anyone's mom forcing them to get off because it's late). I am a little hard of hearing so must speak clear English. We use Facebook messenger to communicate during the week so you will be required to have some sort of Facebook account (you can create one for your character if you want) and install the Facebook messenger app. We want you to be active in the messenger chat. Must have a WORKING microphone and we will more than likely use Skype so have a Skype account. It will be expected that you are online and ready to go before the start time so we can dive right into the campaign. If you have read this far and are still interested please post the following: 1. Your name 2. Experience 3. 2 classes and their subclasses that you would be interested in. 4. What time zone you are in 5. Availability during the week in addition to Thursday nights I encourage mature people of any experience to apply as we are happy to answer questions and have some good D&D knowledge in our group to share. You can access my LFG here: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/60414/plane-wal... Intro Description: From the creation of the planes, their existence has been in turmoil. Vying for supremacy, planes are constantly gaining and losing territory, crossing over into neighboring existences. As the volatile and chaotic plane of fire erupts with unchanneled power, the energy is met by the crashing tsunami waves of the plane of water. As the feywild gives birth to another generation of magnificent creatuers, the Shadow plane snatchs a child in the night. As one energy is met by another, the material plane is able to exist through this balance, and from this the world of Zanzibar is born. This loose balance of power gives your world the stability it needs to thrive. But as power on one plane erupts, energy spills over into your world. There are those who commit themselves to guarding the world from these exposures, while others try merely to profit from it, yet still there are some who encourage destruction to pour forth. In this world, you can choose to fight against chaos, ignore it, or be part of it. Just know that every surge of power must be balanced by equal energies. I welcome you to the campaign of The Plane Walker.
