Hi, I'm UK based guy looking for a good group/groups for regular D&D sessions at the weekends. I'm trying to get back into D&D after a long break but it's pretty difficult to find a group near me, hence checking out Roll20. I'm told it's a great place to find online groups. I've played a range of systems in the past, AD&D 2nd Edition, D&D 3.5E, Role Master, Space Master, MERP etc., so have plenty of experience and now I've got a burning desire to get back into gaming and really want to dip my toes into D&D 5E. I've played long term campaigns both in the Forgotten Realms and home brew worlds and have some experience DM'ing. I think I'd like to give DM'ing a try again, but I'd much prefer to just be a player character to start off with. I'm am a little rusty! I don't mind playing across different time zones, however my gaming time will be limited to weekends at these times: Friday: 6:00PM - 11:30PM GMT (1:00PM - 6:30PM EST), Saturday: 4:00PM - 11:30PM GMT (11:00AM - 6:30PM EST), Sunday: 4:00PM - 11:30PM GMT (11:00AM - 6:30PM EST). These are not totally set in stone, there may be some flexibility. I have no strict preference of the type of game I join, although I think I've always preferred those with a good balance between RP and Combat, although again, I'm pretty flexible. Same goes with one-shots or long campaigns - I'm up for trying out both. If there's any groups going willing to give an old time gamer a go, please drop me a line or reply below. Thanks for reading.
