[LFP] Everyone is John? You are mistaken. Everyone is Stanley (One Shot or maybe more)

Stanley is an average caucasian man. He's what we know as "a mere simpleton": a man who simply goes with the flow instead of trying to fight it, a man who is pushed by the slighest breeze and a man who is hurt by even the slighest change in his average irremediably boring life. His life consists in a circle made up of home, then work, then home again and ocassionally work once more. Stanley's life is incredibly uneventful for the Narrator wishes to keep it that way. By making a simple character with some flaws and a rather simple life, the Narrator ensures that we will be capable of identifying ourselves. Once the story starts, the Narrator plans to guide Stanley through a journey of self-discovery. An amazing tale of epic proportions where destiny picks an unfortunate man and sends him against all sorts of obstacles... But after a disturbing encounter with a deranged lunatic known simply as John, Stanley heard something else apart from the Narrator . Much like "Everyone is John", the participating players control the new voices in Stanley's head. These voices are constantly struggling for control and every one of them has an obsesion, an action or objective that needs to be accomplished solely to gain points. But this isn't Everyone is John, this is Everyone is Stanley and Stanley, being the work of the prolific writer we simply know as " the Narrator ", already has a story which, in my totally unbiased opinion, is extremelly brilliant and would put most modern books to shame. You may attempt to send Stanley into a different path and make your own story but we both know that's never going to happen...right? TL;DR: Meta-gaming aside, this is exactly like Everyone is John minus the fact that we have a Narrator who already has plans for this new John and is fully aware of the players. While the players have total control of John, the Narrator controls everything else..and he isn't exactly very open-minded. What is the Narrator? Well, it could be Stanley's conciousness, a demon, a god even or maybe a voice but it's rude to talk about someone when they are listening. I'm looking for five players but a few more may join. We can either go with text or voice. For voice communication, both Skype and Discord work for me. Obviously, you will have to read the rules of Everyone is John and then write down your "Voice". The hour and date of our little madness charade will be decided by the players
It seems that my jokes about demons and the possible existance of an alternate reality have awoken the interest of players who would be much more comfortable playing All Fish Must be Eaten and Call of ChunLi. While there are some spooks here, I don't have "guaranteed" spooks in the way that i don't even know if we will ever reach the scary bits. Heck we will be probably laughing most of the time. This is Everyone is John for the uninitiated
