Info;  My name is Brent, I'm 16 and in high school, from the USA, EST timezone. 4-10 PM on weekdays, and 12 AM to 12 PM on weekends. I'm rarely ever busy with class/homework, and pretty dedicated in a casual way to most games I play. I'm sorta familiar with RPG's, but only World of Warcraft. (Filthy casual <3) Request;  Like the title says, I'm new to DnD at all, and I want to join a group that's more tolerable to noobs like me. The only knowledge I have about DnD is sorta how rolls work, and small things like adding proficiency. I'm pretty quick to learning rules and guidelines, but I usually need someone to "hold my hand" until I know what to do. Pros;  I follow the rules to the letter, but I question stuff that's either confusing or a bit off the wall. I'm a quick learner, and depending on the scene, a quicker thinker. I can either come up with some odd but effective ideas, or straight to the point solutions to problems. I'm not very picky about things, but not to the point where I settle with junk. Cons; I have a bad habit of getting sidetracked with new toys and loot. I try and shoehorn a detour for goodies into any plan if possible. I get lost in character stories. I'm a perfectionist, and my character needs to be flawless. I like being in control, but at the same time I hate feeling like I'm a control freak. I just stick with following instead of leading to not mix things up. I'm not good with words. Probably why I don't talk much tbh. Character;  I've only "played" one game, just as a tutorial to learn how dice work, so character development is still uncharted territory. I'm hoping my character can be a Tiefling or a Half-elf, and I'm more of a melee than magic player. Nothing beats a sword/bow and arrow. I hope someone decides to go out on a limb and teach me the ways of DnD. It's very interesting, and it seems like a game I won't regret sinking time into. Thanks for taking the time to read my friggen essay, have a good one. ^-^ PM me if you decide I can join, or talk to me on discord. MagicTurtle#4159
