Player LFG - d20Modern - post Apocalyptic

Hey all, my name is Jeb Smith. Some time back I was an avid DnD player but with moves, and general life issues I lost the time to play. Recently my imagination was sparked and I had a hankering to get back into the d20 tabletop dice. I've played on the 1.0 and 3.5 rule sets for DnD but recently became very interested in the d20 Modern rule set, especially the Apocalypse add-on. Although I may be interested in other Sci-Fi (Star Wars/Trek, etc) that are using a d20 base (I do have digital copies of almost all the DnD and d20 Modern manuals and a few others), I would like to try a campaign or two with the d20 Modern rule set that I've been looking into. I'm available on all the weekends, unless work steps in which is rare, from Noon to 6PM PST (4AM-10AM GMT), and on one or two Fridays a month between 6PM to 9PM PST (10AM-1PM GMT). Currently I'm over 30 and married and just want to get back into tabletop gaming but doing it the old fashioned way where I'm at just doesn't seem feasible. Hope to hear from someone out there starting up a game that wants an enthusiastic player!

You may also want to check out Mutants and Masterminds then. See that pretty regularly here. Trek 20 would likely be a hit, and it is published, by I've not seen it yet. I see a lot of talking re: Star Wars, but no gaming.

Bumping... Still looking for a game using the d20 system. Modern, Star Wars or Star Trek. Seems to be few active games out there. Still relearning the system and rule sets to try to run my own campaign though. Available on Saturday and Sunday afternoons PST and some Friday evenings PST.

Thinking of possibly starting up my own Campaign and advertising on a couple of the other forums and playing it here. Would be a d20 Modern rule set with some House rules considering a lot of what I've been reading about d20 Modern and it's pros and cons.

We have a d20M zombie game now but it's on Monday. And because many players didn't show up, I'm not sure the GM would want to continue or not...

Thanx for the invite but I cant play during the week due to work and night classes. The game I was thinking of setting up wouldnt be Zed centered (although some exist). Thinking more a mad max/revolution type of twist with the occassional reanimated corpse. I already have some basic layout ideas and the initial "quest". Just developing some hooks for the rest of the campaign. You know, who the major baddies are, some important NPCs and some locals. I dont want to drive the game too much. I want to give the players some control of the story progression. I did get into a SW Saga game and thats helping me understand the flow of a campaign on d20s virtual tabletop. And it was a fun game, even if a couple of the players showed up late.
