Twilight 2000 character sheet question, burst fire calculator

So my friends and I have just started a Twilight 2000 game. Did a small easy combat to work out how the combat works. But I am confused on how the burst calculator in the character sheet works. At first I tried putting in values and the No of rolls box just stayed at 0 and now after messing with some numbers in the weapons table it now appears to calculate but it doesnt seem right. For say a Ppsh I entered those values in and at No of bursts equal to 4 or higher the number of dice rolled just keeps going up by 1 rather than decreasing.

If it stays at zero you do not have the strength field filled in.  Once your strength is overwhelmed by the recoil you are down to 1 round per burst 4 bursts with a ppsh is a total recoil of 16.  16 - 10 (max strength) is 6 round lost per burst pg 203 of the rules Recoil: Recoil for automatic fire is calculated the same way as for individual shots. If the recoil number is greater than a character's Strength, the number of dice rolled per burst is reduced according to the difference Recoil- Strength. For example, Alvarez, with a Strength attribute of 7, fires her Uzi submachinegun (see data on page 1 00) in an action turn. The Uzi fires five rounds per burst, and Alvarez decides to fire a total of two bursts (10 rounds). The Uzi statistics in the weapon cards or combat tables show that the Uzi has a burst recoil of 5. Since she is firing two bursts, the total recoil in the turn is 10, which is 3 higher than her Strength. As a result, she subtracts three dice from each burst fired , leaving her with a total of 4D20 rolled for hits instead of 10D20 (short range is assumed). Minimum Dice: A three- or five-round burst will never be reduced to less than one die per burst, regardless of the number of reductions for range and/or recoil made.  The maximum number of bursts you can fire in one turn is 5 (although I did not put a cap in the calculator) pg 201 of the rules Each automatic weapon can fire up to either five individual shots or five bursts per action turn.
