AVAILABLE NOW - NEW 5th Edition Module for level 1-4 characters!! $9.99 Bring your 🛡⚔️🔮&🎲 and head to http://bit.ly/2h7D6qA A scalable 5e Plug N Play Adventure for character levels 1-4 by Arcania Adventures™. Silverlight Port, nestled between rolling hills and the ocean, has served as a critical trading port for hundreds of years under the rule of the Belastorm family. Lord Elden Belastorm has been very successful in negotiating trade agreements that have benefited his people and town. In recent years Silverlight has prospered with lucrative agreements with miners, traders and timber merchants. The Lord and his only son, Varieos Belastorm, live in Silverlight Manor. The Manor is famed for its beautiful art and its mystical Moon garden, around which the Manor is centred. Lord Elden's son has recently been sent to the nearby city of Van Bergen to finish his education and prepare him for a more responsible role in the management of Silverlight's affairs. His friend of many years, Rava Blackwind (a well known rascal and rogue) has accompanied him to Van Bergen, and together have found themselves spending more time in the lush casino of Van Bergen than they have the halls of the city's guilds and university. Gossip in the taverns, inns and streets has turned to something sinister having befallen Silverlight. The whispers have rushed like wildfire through the city and now burn your ears as you hear a tale of magic, sorcery, and death. Included in Death at Silverlight Manor: - 5e Plug N Play architecture to fit any SRD5 game - Scaled encounters, experience points and treasure to suit player level and party size - Character, monster and NPC tokens and character sheets - Detailed maps, handouts and additional resources to enhance your gameplay - Written in the Arcania FastPlay Framework™ for fast play - Dynamic Lighting and Jukebox enabled - Roll20 SRD5 Drag N Drop compatible Character Sheets - All access Character Vault enabled - Play tested by independent Roll20 users

Very cool Duncan. Can you elaborate on "FastPlay Framework™"? The Pathfinder community has some "fast play" alternative rules to expedite things. Can I assume this is similar? Thanks

Hi Vince Thanks for your question. FastPlay is a style of module writing that is intended to make being the DM as easy as possible and stop the annoying need to pause the action to read chunks of text to see what is meant to happen. As a DM myself I have seen the amount of text in modules increase to a point where it becomes arduous to prepare for a few hours of gaming. Arcania has crafted the module text into essential dot point descriptors and events so the DM can quickly understand the broader story and then focus on the action. FastPlay encourages interactive story telling and supports 5e's faster combat so there are no long pauses as the DM re-reads what is meant to happen as the characters burst through the door. Hope that answers your question! There are some screen snapshots that highlight what it looks like on the module's page in the market place.

Looks like a wonderful adventure!
How many levels does this carry you to? I see its scalable for 1-4 but I'd like to know how long of a session this was meant to be.

Hello Volomon! Based on a party of 4 adventurers successfully completing all encounters, obstacles and clearing Silverlight Manor of evil; the characters could earn up to the following total XP during Death at Silverlight Manor: Party Level 1 2 3 4 Party XP 3750 6750 10725 17250 Individual XP 938 1688 2681 4313 If you scale once they get to Level 2 then you could easily finish around level 3 or 4 - in an accumulative XP (scale up as they level up) game. As for time - the game is probably around 8-10 hours (12 if you have an argumentative, easily distracted fun loving crew like my play testers!) Hope that helps

James - please see my response to your direct message. For any other's with a similar query see below: ________ Okay - first things - if you haven't ever been a Dungeon Master before then simply google "how to DM". Maybe start here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRfKBEAgYeo and see how you go with a few more related videos. You can also download the basic rules for free from Wizards of the Coast - here: http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/basicrule... Now - once you have a bit of an idea.... Start up Roll20 and jump in to Join Game. On the right hand side under the 'Journal' Tab (3rd from left of menu item options on right hand side of the Roll20 interface you will find numbered 1 to 10 information sheets / folders. Start here on Journal 1 and read it and then 2,3,4 & 5 - once you have read these - and maybe take some notes so you get an idea of the story and plot and the suggested way it should unfold - you will be ready to then look at the maps and location information in Folder number 6. If you are new to Roll20 - they have heaps of Youtube tutorials accessible and also try these https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJGKJMlzabI... But in short first up - you need to understand the basics of the Roll20 interface, understand the basics of D&D and then read the sections 1-5 of the adventure. From there - invite your players in and set up characters for them (you can use the ones I have provided as basic examples in the game - section 9. Then move them to the starting map - Van Bergen, and begin the adventure by describing their surroundings (based on the Hook - how they get into the game, in section 3) and then see where they go and what they do. Each area has a description you can read out to them and information only you can see - that will tell you of any encounters, interesting things etc. _____________
