Hey guys sorry for the long title. I was wondering if any one had access to the Hypercorps 2099 rules for pathfinder? I plan on making a campaign in the style of cowboy bebop and fire fly where your characters are not really heroes but people who need a paycheck somehow. I plan on using the d20 future rules to help with intergalactic travel since you guys will be getting jobs from not just earth but the different planents in the solar system itself. So you may get a job on Mars or even the moon. I will also be using some alternate rules from Ulitmate Combat and Pathfinder Unchained. The main alternate rule will be the revised action economy since after researching into a bit it will help serve for more action/cinematic type combat. Hypercorps itself usues the Defense system over AC which is basically a modified touch AC. To add onto the alternate rules, I plan on using the alternate called shot rules from Ulitmate Combat, possibly Wounds and Vigor from Ulitmate Combat as well, Armor as Damage Reduction where your armor bonus gets converted to DR/armor in hopes this will help with damage and keeping things a bit more interesting. I am also thinking about using the spell attack roll rule under Active Spell Casting. I also am using the consolidated group skills. You can find those under Group Skills with the Consolidated sidebar. Also the biggest rule I am implementing is the Loyalty system instead of alignment. To vaguely represent good and evil I am using the terms Paragon and Renegade. I imagine some of you will get the reference ;) As far as races go, core are fine but races outside of the core we can talk about. :) All these rules can be found on d20pfsrd while d20 Future can be found online as well. I plan on running this campaign after the holidays in the States so sometime in January. The frequency of the game is really based on the interest. I am looking for a team of four operators. After each episode (session) I will tell you if you level up in your class or your Hyperscore. Or maybe something else happens entierly. The first session will have you guys hired by wealthy hyper corporation, Hyperion Tech Solutions, to steal plans for a new software from their competitor on the moon, Blue Moon Enterprise, while they are hosting their 30th year anniversary party. So a good time as any to get these plans and get paid. Even though your group of operators are strangers to one another, you might find yourself coming together as a team. But of course the job may sound simple but nothing rarely is. The time for the campaign to begin is around midnight or a little after on the weekend. Plan on doing it Friday or Saturday when I get off of work and play until sometime around 4 or 5. So if you're interested, please get a hold of me. I look forward to hearing from you!
