Characters were in a royal caravan heading to Dravens' Port for Prince Raffolk's arrival. Characters met each other and several NPCs before the group was beset upon by hobgoblins and a goblin riding a wolf. Cassius set hobgoblins and the goblin on fire, hobgoblins teamed up on Ailekk and struck him down, meanwhile a brown bear appeared from, under a wagon?, slew a hobgoblin then raced off into the woods. After the enemy forces were routed, the party explored the woods and found several dead hobgoblins. Kenku were lurking about with strange amulets, doing something or other. Upon returning to the caravan, everyone was greeted by a friendly guard named Gregory who said the Lord and Lady of the caravan invited them to camp with them for the evening. The PCs Lord Benecium (Stephen)- Snoody sorcerer followed by a bronze dragonborn Majordomo (Madam Skyreaver) and 2 funny kobolds (Gib-dum and Gib-der) Cassius (David)- Tiefling Paladin who seems to be authority figure Dorilys (Kristle)- Forest Gnome who is playful and likes to take pot-shots at assailants while hiding behind livestock. She is also curious Ailekk (Joseph)- Aarakocra Monk who deals out a good whollop better than he takes one. Notable NPCs Jamesyth- Well traveled merchant who knows how to fire a heavy crossbow. Woman in Red- Well traveled woman who seems to know Ailekk but disappeared during combat. Carric Moonwhisper- Warrior elf, covered in scars, who went out to meet the threat. Wizard Rirrick and a dangerous looking soldier (never got her name). The two were moving quickly through the caravan. Giant looking dwarf merchant who, when the party was attacked, drew a shield and protected his donkey. Name was Zedra. Bear who leaped out from under a wagon and attacked the hobgoblins (name unknown). Friendly looking, but not bright, guard who invited characters to the noble's camp after the fighter named Gregory.
