My players can't add their sheets

Good Morning Rollers,  I am a new GM to roll 20 and ran my first session of OotA last Saturday with my group. We all think it would be great to have our characters in Roll 20 for macro's etc but I can't seem to find out how to enable my players to make character sheets. I followed the guidance on the wiki and turned it on for 5th edition, but when they go to their journal tab it is still blank. Any suggestions?
I don't think that players can create characters sheets inside the journal tab. Instead I create a character for each player and give access to that character to the player it was created for.

As Kyle indicated, a gm has to add the character sheet to the journal tabs for each player then edit the sheet for the sheet to be viewable and controll/edit for each player. More information can be found on our  wiki journal page .

I just remember also that if you choose to go pro subscription, there is an API script that allows your players to create their sheets with a simple command.
Thank you all! I really appreciate the help. Going to go try that right now!
It worked exactly like you said. Thanks guys!
