So I've always wanted to run a roleplay where just about anything can happen. Then I found Rifts and I've just couldn't help myself from trying to start up a campaign. So, here's the deal, I just don't have much experience with this system. Sad to say, but I only did a-little-bit of Robotech and Segie on Tolkeen. So I'm just going to be frank: If you are looking for a lore rich game that heavily references the Rifts timeline, this will not be that game. You will need to be able to make and manage your character without too much help. Sandbox style, so no starting story arcs and you'll have to drive your own characters motivations. Your party will likely be unbalanced as all hell (unless you coordinate in our Game 0). Level/Scale will fallow the source material unless a conversions into Rifts exists. Wednesday games (I wouldn't be able to make it to my own games otherwise). Some hooks: Although I haven't picked a setting date, it will likely be at least 1,000 P.A. (though likely further). Starting level will be 3 (though I'll grant you a higher level if you pick something ranked HP/SDC). So long as I have the PDF it's all far game, I have just about everything except Fantasy/Heroes (accruing PDFs is no issue). I will allow homebrews (if I can see how it scales) and even non-Palladium sources, supplements, & homebrews (if its compatible). Since RCC sometimes act as Races, but other times act as OCCs/PCCs, all RCCs will be treated as Races (& scale to your OCCs). Monstrous Races are fair game as playable Races (though CR should be reasonable & please remember you need to fit inside a ship). No class restrictions, unless avoiding the restriction makes the class unplayable or ruins another OCCs lore (in relation to Phaseworld).
