Game for Newbies (anyone interested?)

I'm thinking of starting a game using The Master Vault module for people who have never played Roll20/Roleplaying Games and hopefully a few people who have a vague idea of what they are doing. As someone who is just starting to learn myself. The main idea is to just have a easy going space for people to learn and make mistakes, would anyone be interested in that?

I am very interested in Tabletop RPG's, but have never actually played one before! So, could I maybe join and get a bit of help for starting out? Because that'd be hugely appreciated!

I have experience with 5E and some other simpler systems. If you like I would be willing to show you the ropes.

I would be interested in a newbie group-something where we could learn and laugh at our errors, without the pressure of performing for more experienced hands. I dabbled some old school AD&D back in the day, and would like to get involved playing some 5E.

i would like to join and learn as well, i played one game of 3.5 and loved it. never done 5E or anything else really and the group i played with we were all inexperienced accept for the one leading it and honestly he babied us through it without explaining a lot

I would be very interested as well. Have had an interest for quite a few years now, just do not know anyone that plays so my experience is limited to some old PC games (Baldurs Gate, and Neverwinter Nights). Anxious to learn.

Thanks Steven P., I think I'm also going to try setup my own game. Though I will also need a DM because I would like the most experienced person to be the DM, that would not be me. Some more details below. We will be using The Master Vault module (which I think is a D&D 5th edition), which has 6 premade characters This is for players with no to nearly no experience with Roll20 and Tabletop games We need 5 players for this game (since I will be one of the players) We also need DM with a vague idea of what they are doing (If you know the basics, but have never been DM you're good) The game will probably be on Friday, Saturday or Sunday afternoon or night next week (Jan 20, 21 or 22) We will probably being using only text or also audio, depends on everyone's comfort level As before this is a game by newbies for newbies and is more to get people comfortable playing and to learn the basics among people who can't make fun of you as they will mess up just as bad.   If this goes well I'll do another one of these games as the DM so if you miss out you will either have missed out on a mess or have a second chance to be a part of it. The listing has all this information again and is called "By Newbies for Newbies". People who comment on here get preference in being chosen, but besides that first come first serve. 

Note: You only get preference till Wednesday.

I would also be interested in joining a newbie game. Do I need to have bought and read the D&D rule book before hand? This is all very new to me but I love deep RPG games like Skyrim, Fallout etc and love complex board games like Dead of Winter. Hoping I can get into tabletop RPG and this seems like a good place to start..!

I've always been interested but know nothing about it. I'd be an absolute beginner. Would that be alright?

I would love to play.....I have never played any RPG before and have no idea where to start of where to turn.  This would be an excellent way to learn.  I do not even know how to make a character sheet ;) Dustin

I found some basic rules via google if needed, but one of the people who volunteered to be DM says they have a PDF of the players handbook and are willing to share.
